If the application is accepted, enrolment onto the course is provisionally completed until the admission procedure is definitively completed according to Article 4 below.

3a) 3-YEAR COURSES- Enrolment onto the second or third year of a 3-year course will be possible once the Student has successfully completed the relevant course requirements for the previous year.

4) ADMISSION - To be granted admission onto the Course, the Student must have previously paid both the Enrolment Fee and the Tuition Fee indicated on page 2 in full by bank

4a) CONDITIONAL ADMISSION- Students who are currently either still in their final year of high school/university or are still attending an English or Italian language course (and who therefore have not yet completed their final exams and/or have not yet received their final certificate to prove that they have finished their studies) can apply for a course at ADLM. If a candidate who is still in their final year of high school/university or who is still attending an English or Italian language course wants to apply for a course, a formal letter from their current school/university/place of study attesting the qualification they are currently studying for, the date they will finish their studies, and the expected date they will receive their results/official certificate must be presented together with the rest of the Documents listed at section 22 below. This document will act as a temporary substitute for the final certificate which must be sent as soon as the student has received it. If a student who still studying at high school/university or who is still attending an English or Italian language course formally applies for a course and their application is accepted, they will be given a CONDITIONAL OFFER of a place on their chosen course until they have successfully finished their studies, passed their exams, and have presented the official certificate to ADLM as proof of this. 10) STUDY PROGRAMME AND NO. OF HOURS- the Course programme, structure, and number of hours are indicated in each respective Course Guide.

11) COMPULSORY ATTENDANCE- Course attendance is mandatory; arriving late or leaving early to training activities (Article 9) will result in the application of one hour of absence

for every hour or fraction of an hour greater than 15 minutes; Absences of more than 20% of the total hours of a module (related to the activities detailed in Article 9 points a,b,c)

will result in the automatic failure of that module, that is the non-attainment of the minimum module pass mark required (see Article 14 for pass rates). Exceeding the absence

limit is penalised as follows: For Master's and Intensive Courses and final year of 3-Year Courses, the student will not be admitted to the Final Examination (see Article 14) and

consequently will not be awarded the Certificate; for Preparatory Courses, the student will not be admitted to the final Evaluation Test (see Article 14) and consequently will not

be awarded the Certificate; For 3-Year non-final-year students, exceeding the absence limit will result in the student not being admitted onto the successive year of the course.

12) TIMETABLE - The activities listed in Article 9 points a, b and c can be held from Monday to Saturday. The specific dates, including the start and end times of lessons, are indicated

in the course timetable which is sent out by email on a weekly basis by the academic administrative office. The timetable may vary according to teaching needs. The dates of

Evaluation Tests (see Articles 9 point a, and Article 14) are also indicated in the course timetable.

at the expense of the Student.

14) ASSESSMENT- There are two different exam type categories: Evaluation Tests and Final Examinations. Evaluation Tests are held at the end of each module (and at the end of

Preparatory Courses) and are marked out of thirty with a pass rate of 18/30. In the event of a fail (a mark lower than 18/30) in up to a maximum of 3 modules, the student concerned

can participate in a catch up session. Final Examinations are held at the end of Master's, Intensive and 3-Year (final year) Courses, and consist in presenting a thesis structured as

a project in front of the examination committee. Final Examinations are marked out of 110 with a pass rate of 60/110. The issuing of the Certificate is subject to attaining an average

mark throughout the Course which is no lower than 18/30 in Evaluation Tests, and 60/110 in the Final Examination. For non-final-year 3-Year course students, admission to the

successive year of the course is subject to attaining an average mark no lower than 18/30.

15) COURSE DURATION - The start and end dates of the Course are specified in the Course Calendar on page 6 of this Application Form, and the Student will be notified by email

of any changes in a timely manner by ADLM.

through means of a registered letter with return receipt, or through another approved means of communication which legally certifies the sending date. This must be sent to

ADLM's registered office (see Article 3). Except as provided for in Article 7, the Enrolment Fee will not be refunded. In the event of withdrawal from the Course and without prejudice

to the provisions of Article 7, the following rates will apply:

- if the withdrawal occurs more than (and up to) 90 calendar days before the Course start date, ADLM will be entitled to retain 30% of the Tuition Fee;

- if the withdrawal occurs between the 60th and 89th calendar day before the Course start date, ADLM will be entitled to retain 50% of the Tuition Fee;

- if the withdrawal occurs between the 30th and 59th calendar day before the Course start date, ADLM will be entitled to retain 70% of the Tuition Fee;

- if the withdrawal occurs less than 30 calendar days before the Course start date and more generally in the event the Student does not attend the Course, there will be no refund

whatsoever of the Tuition Fee.

For the purposes of this Article, the Course start date is as indicated on the Course Calendar referred to in Article 15 above, and the date of withdrawal is that on which the withdrawal

request was sent; if a change in the Course start date has been notified according to Article 15 and the Student attends even one hour of training activities, there will be no

that may participate in the final examination project (as described in the Course Guide).

20) DURATION OF THE CONTRACT - The Contract will expire within 18 months of the date when it was signed and, in any case, upon the end date of the Course. If the end date of

the Course is later than the Contract expiry date, the latter will be considered extended until the conclusion of the Course.
